  • Typically 80% reduction in hair growth can be achieved in a full course of treatment. The hair reduces in thickness, frequency and amount. Generally, you can go from shaving 2x a week to once every 3-6 months as that is how long the hair may take to grow back.

  • If the hair you’re looking to treat is medium brown to black in color, chances are IPL hair removal will be a fantastic option for you. Light to medium brown hair can be treated to a lesser degree.

    IPL hair removal is a fantastic option for those experiencing hormonal issues, such as PCOS, leading to excessive hair growth. However, treatments are generally required more frequently.

  • After a full treatment course, you can expect to see up to a 70-90% reduction in hair growth. Clients often report only needing to shave once every 3-6 months with hair thickness being significantly reduced. At the end of the treatment course, maintenance treatmets are usually required once ever 3 to 6 months.

  • Between 8-12 treatments in monthly intervals to start. As hair growth slows, the length between appointments increases. Your therapist will provide further information in your consultation.

BEFORE & AFTER CARE

  • No sun exposure or photosensitive medications 2 weeks pre treatment. No fake tan present in treatment area.

  • Sun & waxing is to be avoided for a minimum of two weeks post. Avoid heat for 48-72 hours post. Treatment gels are to be applied 2x daily for 3 days.

  • Up to 80% reduction in hair thickness, frequency & amount.

  • Grey, blonde & red hairs do not respond to treatment.

    Those who keloid scar, are pregnant, on Roaccutane or have been on cancer medications within the last 12 months are not suited to treatment. Contact your skin therapist for more information.
